Space Invaders: Art and the Computer Game Environment

This is a game about living on the edge and DEALING WITH IT. Space is cold and lonely but sometimes that’s how it goes. Coming soon.

I’m going to be on a panel this Thursday at NYU Tisch – 721 Broadway, Lower Level, Room 006. It starts at 6.

I have a couple games up tonight at 303 Grand in Williamsburg 7-10pm. Both are two player. Sorry this post is a little late, but if you’re free come hang out.

From Lorimer stop. Exit on Union & Metropolitan end. Walk four blocks West on Metropolitan to Havermeyer. Left on Havermeyer and down two blocks to Grand. Right on Grand and its just off the corner.

From Bedford stop. Walk South on Bedford untill you get to Grand St. Take a left on Grand and walk three blocks down to 303 Grand.

J/M/Z Train
J or M train to Marcy stop. Exit at Havermeyer end. Head North six blocks on Havermeyer untill you reach Grand St. Left on Grand and its right off the corner.

I’m looking for an awesome C++ programmer with a good knowledge of OpenGL and SDL to work on a Flywrench recode/update. This is a paid gig, preferably for someone in the NY area. Email me if you’re interested, mark@messhof.com

I’m still working on Flywrench and I recently found out about this fundraising website called Kickstarter. You set a goal as to how much money you need and by when, then the project is open for anyone to contribute. You can also set rewards for different levels of contribution. My funding is going towards living expenses and hiring a programmer to help with a few things so that I can have something to submit to the Independent Games Festival this November.
